Climate Innovator & Founder of Cool The Globe

Prachi Shevgaonkar is a Climate Innovator and the founder of Cool The Globe, a climate action app with users from over 110 countries. Recognized as the 'Young Change-maker of the Year' by India's finance minister, she leads the Next Generation India Fellowship by the UN Foundation and CEEW, empowering youth to address global challenges. Prachi serves as a Climate Change Advisor to Tata Power and its subsidiaries.

A winner of a deal on Shark Tank India season 3, Prachi was also named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia - Class of 2024. Google featured her in a TV campaign highlighting her work with Cool The Globe. She is the youngest and first Indian to join the advisory board of the Climate Leadership Coalition alongside Finland’s former Prime Minister. Prachi represented India at COP27, where she received the 'COP27 Scholar Award' from Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav.

As a founding member of the Global Youth Council with Nobel Peace Laureate Juan Manuel Santos, Prachi’s climate action campaigns have reached 25 million citizens. To date, 140 countries have joined Cool The Globe and saved 5 million kg of greenhouse gas emissions. Her grassroots efforts and advocacy continue to inspire action in tackling climate change. She firmly believes that when ordinary citizens come together, miracles can happen.
