This session is a conversation about what is important to the youth of today, sustainably speaking. You are young, you are here. Why? What's important these days? How do the leaders of tomorrow want the world of today to go forward so they can have a future to lead with? Is green still relevant? Why or why not? We hope to truly hear from the voices of young people about earth's very existence, survival and nurture in a world facing fast and alarming environmental changes. Guiding questions: a. Why is coming to RAYS important for you? b. Is nature important to you at all? Why/why not? c. From a sustainability POV, what is it about the world today that works for your future? What about it does not? What would you like to see? d. Describe an earth of tomorrow that you would like that's better than now.
Engage in a meaningful dialogue about their values, concerns, and aspirations for a sustainable future, fostering a sense of empowerment and agency in shaping their world. Through guided questions, critically reflect on the current state of the world and envision a future that aligns with their values and aspirations, developing their ability to think analytically and creatively about complex issues.
